The theme for the 2009 Social Equity and Leadership Conference is Social Equity and Regional Disparities. We are encouraging papers to be submitted with a focus on any areas of disparity (including educational disparities, economic disparities, health disparities, etc.) and the roles of public administration and public affairs scholars and practitioners in responding to them.

One page abstracts must be received by May 8, 2009 as a PDF or a Word document.   Presenters will be notified by May 15, 2009.  All papers for the conference will be due by June 1, 2009. 

Please Note: The call for papers has been extended. People who submitted abstracts by the initial April 10 deadline will be notified regarding the status of their papers by April 20.

Each abstract should indicate the name and institution of the author(s) and an indication of how the paper relates to the conference theme.
